CAP CITY

It all began in a living room...

...in 2012.  A small group grew, moved.  Then grew again, and moved again.  We now find ourselves in a great community, building a great community.  What does that mean?  Well, we are building a community of faith, based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and we meet in Maes Y Coed Community Centre in the Birchgrove/Heath area of Cardiff.  Are you looking for community?  Come for a visit!  You'll be glad you did.

"What can I expect when I come to Cap City?"

If you come to Capital City Church, you will see a group of casually-dressed people of multiple ages who like to sing, laugh, and meet new friends.  You may want to come a few minutes early to enjoy a hot drink and biscuit from our lounge.  It's also where you'll find the best conversations with new friends!

A typical service will feature our band who will play two to three songs - some new, some older hymns - in a contemporary fashion.  Following the musical portion of the service, one of our leaders will give a teaching or a talk from the Bible.  This usually lasts 30 to 40 minutes.  The band often returns to close the service with a two more songs, often inviting people to come forward to pray and seek more of God.  We start (on time) at 11:00 AM and finish at approximately 12:30.

WHAT'S ON

Current Series

People claim that Jesus has done many things, been many things and said many things but what would he actually say if you asked him a question right now? Through the New Testament we have the ability to hear directly from the man himself. Jesus used stories, analogies and parables to share his purpose here on earth. During this series we will be taking the bible and seeking answers to life’s questions by studying Jesus in His own words. Catch up on this week's preach here.
